Animal rights activists gathered in Madrid's central square to protest bullfighting, wearing nothing but fake blood and forming S.O.S. with their bodies.
According to a 2006 Gallup poll, most Spaniards don't have any interest in bullfighting anymore. Those who would have it continue believe that, as a centuries-old tradition, it should be preserved for its cultural value, Reuters reported.
