50 Best Star Wars Flickr Pics

I'm not a huge star wars fans, but I know way too many people who are. Still, I enjoyed some of these pictures. Many of them are kind of boring or lame, but I did find the finch on darth vader's light saber amusing and the dog dressed up as Yoda was just adorable. There are some that I think only a true fan of Star Wars could appreciate, but still it's worth wasting thirty seconds going through them!

Flintstones-Themed Wedding

Most brides choose to wear a white wedding dress as they walk down the aisle. But Gayle Watson had one unusual accessory when she tied the knot yesterday – a bright orange wig. Because Gayle, 29, and fiancé Ed Robinson, 34, are such huge Flintstones fans that they decided to dress as Fred and Wilma for their big day.

But it wasn’t just the bride and groom that got into the prehistoric spirit by dressing up for the Flintstones-themed wedding… And over 100 guests joined in the fun by dressing in caveman outfits suitable for the streets of Bedrock, where the famous TV cartoon series was set. The couple even had a Flinstones car created especially for the occasion.

The World's Worst Custom Corvette

This customized 'vette was spotted in Evansville, Indiana by a forum member over at Corvette Forum and it was soon discovered that the car went from the above red, black and chrome striped vision of bad taste before the owner doubled down on the crazy and produced this.

Also making its world premiere at New York Auto Show today is a hatchback variant of Kia's Forte (also known as the 'Cerato' in certain markets). The five door model joins the current four-door saloon and two-door (Koup) coupe versions of the Forte.

Stylistically, the hatchback conversion of the Forte is far less adventurous than you'd expect from a company that has churned out some interesting designs lately including the Optima and Sportage.

We don't have photos of the interior yet, but Kia's release makes word of a revised center console, new paddle shifters for the automatic transmission and the addition of a push-button start.

Kia said that when the Forte hatch goes on sale later in the year, North American consumers will have a choice of the 2.0 and 2.4-liter engines while customers in other markets will be able to choose from the 1.6 and 2.0-liter powerplants.
